The New Year

            It has been awhile since our last blog post, but here we are in the New Year. A lot of people did reflections on the year and resolutions for the New Year. I am not doing a New Year’s resolution, but I am doing 3 words to carry into this year with us. Audaciously You Boutique decided that our three words will be love, dedication, and impact. 2020 for A.Y.B. has been a year of loss, learning, and growth. In 2020 we have all experienced loss in some way, but some more greater than others. Having experienced losses this year has shown us that we have  to take advantage of the time we have here with the people we love.

            It has shown us that if we have things we have yet to accomplish we should go for it. Our time is precious and we don’t want to waste it with regrets of the what if’s. 2020 has helped us learn that there is so much more we are capable of and how strong we are as people and a community. It has also shown us the different things we are capable of in our business. For A.Y.B. we learned that there is so much to offer to our customers that we will be adjusting to our business. We want to make sure we are giving those who need a voice an opportunity to be heard.

            This year has been filled with so much spiritual growth for me and growth for my business. 2020 has shown me that the more I do the work on myself that my business will benefit my business. This past year in my life I have had to work on different things personally. Everyone has their demons and everyone has their own way of dealing with things. For me I created this blog and meaning to this business  to help others have a voice. We all get to a place in our life where we must understand that everyone deals with things differently and don’t always speak out. We realize that not every situation is the same but we can only show others that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

            The three words A.Y.B. chose are love, dedication, and impact. Love was a chosen because I am focusing on learning to love my self wholeheartedly. I am learning the true meaning of self-love and acceptance. This is the most important thing for me and the business because it means I am learning to love. I can love my son, my family, and my friends the way I was intended to. My second word of the year is dedication. I chose dedication because I am fully dedicating myself to my dreams. I have a dream of creating a business that makes an impact for others. I have a dream of giving my son a life full of love and opportunities that I never had. I am dedicating this year to making the best effort in everything I do. The last word I chose was impact. I want to help others have a voice. Whether it’s through my products or it is through my blog writing about experiences and be true to myself. Some people aren’t able to voice things just yet so I am sharing things that I am able to voice so that they know they are not alone. Some experiences are easier if we know that it isn’t the end of the world. That we just have one person who came out alright in a situation similar or the same. I also want to give back and help organizations that are in need to help those that can’t help themselves.

            I am dedicating this year to be the very best version of myself for me, my son, and my business. I hope you follow along on this journey with us.
